I am an immigration and refugee lawyer based in Burlington, Ontario. I serve clients in the Greater Toronto & Hamilton areas. I graduated from the McGill University Faculty of Law in 2014, and serve clients in English, French, and Spanish.
I accept certificates issued by Legal Aid Ontario. If you do not qualify for Legal Aid funding, I am happy to offer reasonable prices which reflect the amount of time it will take me to complete your legal matter. Please email, text, or call me to set up a brief consultation, or use the contact form at the bottom of this page to send me a message.

Areas of Practice
Refugee claims & Pre-removal risk assessments (PRRAs)
If you believe you are at risk of persecution or serious harm in your country of origin, I can guide you through the process of preparing a claim for refugee protection and attending your hearing at the Refugee Protection Division (RPD). For those not eligible to have their claim decided by the RPD, I can represent you in a pre-removal risk assessment (PRRA) application.
Immigration appeals
I also practice at the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD). The IAD deals with appeals from individuals who are at risk of losing their permanent residence (PR) due to criminality or failing to meet the PR residency requirements. The IAD also deals with appeals from people whose family class sponsorship applications have been rejected.
Refugee appeals
If your refugee claim has been denied by the Refugee Protection Division (RPD), I can help you prepare an appeal to the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD).
family class sponsorship
If you wish to sponsor your spouse, common-law partner, child, parent, or grandparent, I can help you prepare the application package and submit it to IRCC. I also help you respond to any further communications from IRCC.
humanitarian and compassionate applications
I regularly prepare applications for permanent residence on humanitarian grounds (“H&C Applications”). These are paper-based applications made to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Federal court litigation
If your RAD appeal, IAD appeal, H&C application, PRRA, or other immigration matter has been denied, I can represent you in an application for judicial review in Federal Court.
